131 Days To Go!

Why are there two days listed? Aren't weddings just one day?

Yes, weddings are typically just one day, but ours will be split into two days. We are having a very small and intimate wedding ceremony and dinner on Friday October 10th with our family, and will host a large wedding reception on Saturday, October 11th with our friends!

We are so excited to break the day into two, allowing us to spend more intentional time with all of our family and friends!

Where is everything taking place?

The ceremony on Friday will take place at First United Methodist Church in downtown Tupelo on Friday October 10th, with cocktails and dinner to follow at the Gumtree Museum of Art downtown. This is a private ceremony and your invitation will indicate if you are invited to the ceremony!

The reception will be held on Saturday October 11th at Annette and Scott Reed's home at 1854 Legion Lake Road, Tupelo MS, 38804. Parking can be found at the American Legion Post #49 off of Legion Lake Road. Everyone is more than welcome to attend!

What's the dress code?

The dress code for those attending Friday is black tie. Saturday's dress code is formal or black tie! Tuxes are encouraged but not required for Saturday. Colors, sequins, feathers, pattern, and unique pieces are all encouraged! Whatever you have in your closet that makes you think… “I love this piece but maybe it’s a bit too much..” this is the time to wear it!

Please remember, your presence is more than enough, and we want you to wear whatever makes you feel happy, handsome, festive, and beautiful!

What is the weather like in early October?

Typically the temperature lands somewhere between the low 80’s to high 70's during the day and low 60’s at night. We recommend bringing a warm wrap for nighttime.

Where do we park?

For Friday Guests: First United Methodist Church will have ample parking for the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, there is a seated dinner at the Gumtree Museum of Art a few blocks away from the church. Downtown has plenty of free parking, but we recommend parking around Spring Street near Cadence Bank, Reed's, and Renasant Bank.

For Saturday Guests: Parking for Saturday will be available at the American Legion Post #49 off of Legion Lake Road.
